An event every week that begins at 10:30 am on Monday, repeating until October 17, 2022
This art group is to inspire and also work on talents already found. We aim to guide the inner artist to be found by showing various mediums and techniques. Here is a list of what will be taught. We do like to be able to go with the flow which means some activities will go on longer than others. This all depends on the engagement of everyone attending.
Activities which will be taught are:
- Abstract painting
- Mindfulness mandala painting on canvas bags with fabric markers
- Painting step-by-step landscapes and exploring famous artists and styles
- Mixed media – photography
- Life drawing
- Clay and wire sculpture
- Botanical ink drawings
- Mosaics
- Collage mood boards
- Sustainability and recycling projects
Whenever we can, we will bring in working artists to talk to you about their journey and give live sessions. If you are an artist and would like to lead an activity to show YP what their possibilities are and to share your knowledge please get in touch.
