English, Poetry & Creative Writing 10-13 years

Join Stuart (our resident theatre coach) in an English class designed to keep you engaged while covering all of your English needs. Creatively infusing elements of History and Philosophy. Learn how to confidently analyse and understand text, so that you can produce responses that are unique to you. We’ll make sure you access and express the information necessary to voice your ideas and to trust your own judgement when it comes to comprehension and all things English Literature and Language.

Creative Writing:

Have you ever wanted to be a writer but don’t know where to start? Maybe you already write your own poetry and short stories? Come and join a group of like minded young people where you can build your skills as an emerging writer. Join Stuart (our resident theatre coach) as he takes you through the multiverse of creative writing. Explore a plethora of genres and forms as you discover how to unlock and express your imagination. This is a safe and supportive environment where you can receive feedback and inspiration from your peers. Stuart will guide you through the structure of writing whilst encouraging you to follow your own instincts; as the quote says – ‘once you master the craft, you can break the rules’ creatively speaking of course!
