Singing with Newtion

The aim of workshop: to inspire vocal performance, technique & confidence in repertoire & team work, as well as ensemble singing, audition techniques and song writing.

Contents of workshop:

1. Introductions – which will be sung – this will become their language.
2. Vocal warm-up
3. Young people to pick songs they would like to sing
4. Verse & chorus of song
5. Feedback provided
6. Song provided to work on as an ensemble.

By the end of the programme our young people will have worked towards a performance which will be a combination of solo/group/duo’s and ensemble numbers, including original pieces written by our young people.
