DAY TRIP

Stonehenge Autumn Equinox Trip on Sunday 22nd September 2024

The Plan:

  • Transportation: Please arrange your own transport and let us know if you have a spare seat or 2 or 3! We can look into hiring a minibus if there’s enough interest.
  • Departure: We aim to leave 245 Hammersmith Road, W6 8PW around 02:30am and will arrive at Stonehenge between 04:00 – 05:00am.
  • Return: We plan to leave Stonehenge around 08:00 – 09:00am to explore Glastonbury (Challis Wells, Abbey Gardens & the High Street). We will depart Glastonbury early evening, returning to Hammersmith around 10.00pm.

What to Bring:

  • Yoga mat and/or folding chair for comfort for use on the hill
  • Layers of clothing and a blanket for warmth

Important Notes:

  • The only cost is transportation.
  • Be prepared for an early start!

Poor Effy. Sent to live with her aunt and uncle in a block that won’t allow dogs. What’s a girl to do? She smuggles her furry friend in, of course. Keeps him under a blanket. Feeds him biscuits. Ssh Toto, quiet.

But it can’t last forever. Effy needs saving. And Toto is up to the task.

Monday 21st – Friday 25th July 2025.

Prepare for your children to come home happy and tired from our fully supervised, multi-activity holiday camp.

From scavenger hunts to high ropes and shelter-building to nightline to building a camp fire, Wild Woodrow Adventure Camp lets children challenge themselves with a heap of exciting new activities! We plan each day’s programme according to the weather and the needs and abilities of each group.

The bit for grown-ups

All activities are led by our fully qualified instructors: all of them are DBS checked and qualified first aiders. We are Ofsted registered.

The basics

  • Join us from 21st to 25th July 2025
  • £399 Per Person

  • 3 Meals a Day
  • Drop off and pick up your young person from Woodrow High House

What to bring

  • Appropriate clothing and footwear for outdoor activities.
  • Swimming kit – including, swimwear and a towel!
  • Healthy snacks and a labelled water bottle. No peanuts or nuts please
  • Suncream, sunhat, or waterproof, as needed
  • Most importantly – a sense of adventure!
