Our Purpose & Activities
Located in West London, we are a Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to supporting home-educated and flexi-schooled young people aged 10-16 and their families. Our mission is to provide an enriching educational environment that complements and enhances home education through engaging, facilitator-led activities and a supportive community space.
What We Offer
We provide 16.5 hours of weekly programming that balances core academic subjects like Maths and English with creative and practical learning experiences. Our diverse workshop offerings include Drama, Art, Sewing, and Creative Computing, alongside hands-on activities such as culinary courses, pottery workshops, and digital technology exploration.
Our approach to education is holistic and student-centred, creating an environment where young people can:
1- Develop critical thinking and philosophical exploration skills
2- Express themselves creatively and discover their passions
3- Build practical life skills and entrepreneurial capabilities
4- Form friendships and collaborate with peers
5- Learn at their own pace without pressure or burnout
Supporting Families
We understand that home education is a family journey. That’s why we’ve created a welcoming space where parents can work, connect, and build friendships while their children are engaged in activities. Our flexible drop-off options for classes and workshops provide practical support for busy parents, while our community events help build connections between like-minded families.
Accessibility and Inclusion
We believe quality alternative education should be accessible to all families in our community. We offer our educational programmes at affordable rates and provide discounted options for families facing financial difficulties. This commitment to accessibility helps ensure that all young people in our community can benefit from our enriching learning environment.
Our Community Impact
By providing structured learning opportunities that spark curiosity and encourage self-motivated learning, we’re helping to create a supportive educational ecosystem for home-educated and flexi-schooled young people in West London. Our hub serves as both an educational resource and a community gathering space, fostering connections and supporting the diverse needs of home-educating families.
